"Detox tea", "slimming tea" and "weight-loss tea" are popular search and marketing expressions, not medical categories. No ordinary tea removes body fat by itself, and tea does not cleanse the body of unspecified toxins — the liver, kidneys, lungs and digestive system already handle that continuously. Replacing a sugary drink with an unsweetened infusion can reduce your added-sugar intake, and that is a reasonable reason to enjoy one; it does not turn the tea into a weight-loss treatment. Concentrated extracts and weight-loss supplements are different from ordinary beverages and are not recommended here.

Is detox tea effective for weight loss?
No. "Detox tea" is a marketing expression, not a medical treatment. No ordinary tea removes body fat or meaningfully accelerates weight loss by itself.
Can tea replace a weight-loss supplement?
No. Concentrated extracts, capsules and weight-loss supplements are different from ordinary tea and are not recommended here. An unsweetened tea is simply an alternative to a sugary drink.
Does tea cleanse the body of toxins?
No. The liver, kidneys, lungs and digestive system already process waste continuously. Tea does not add a "cleansing" function beyond normal hydration.
